Terms and Conditions

Please carefully read through our Terms and Conditions before placing an order. All orders placed with Cake and Paper will be subject to the below terms.


All quotations are valid for 21 days from the date listed upon the quotation. Please note, verbal estimates are not a solid contract with Cake and Paper and a confirmed quotation will be required to fully proceed with an order.


Once a quotation has been received and agreed between Cake and Paper and the Client, a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required before any product or service will commence, and an invoice will be sent via email – or post – for the deposit amount.

The remainder of the balance will be due for the following;

Cake orders: 7 days prior to delivery or collection date.

Paper orders: Once final proofs have been confirmed by the Client so printing can begin.

Deposits and balances can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer and a receipt of payment will be provided in all instances. Bank details will be provided on quotation paperwork.

Minimum Orders



  • Paper Party Invitations – 20
  • All wedding stationery – 25

Cake and Paper are happy to quote for any order however a top-up charge may be incurred for minimal orders.


All proofs for designs will be sent to the Client via email, unless specified and agreed by Cake and Paper. It is the Clients responsibility to check the information required for all text and customisations is correct, including spelling, grammar, dates and layouts. If a proof has been confirmed by a client and has an error post printing, Cake and Paper accept no responsibility and are not liable for any further costs incurred.

All proofs will need to be confirmed before any printing is processed. It is important that you contact Cake and Paper directly if there are any factors that may effect your response times as this may have an impact upon your order turnaround time. Cake and Paper will endeavour to be as accommodating as possible with printing timescales, however as as a third party printing service is used we cannot be held liable for any of their delays.

It is really important to note that the colour on your screen may well differ from the final printed colour, this is particularly noticeable between phones, tablets and desktop screens.

Cancellations, Losses and Damage

Once an order has been placed, we will do our absolute best to accommodate any alterations and changes that you request. However, if any third party costs have been incurred, it will not be possible to cancel an original order placed.

Please also note that Cake and Paper reserves the right to cancel an order at any stage with provided substantial reasoning.

Cake and Paper cannot be held responsible for any losses or damages to orders once dispatched.


Paper orders can be delivered by hand within BS21 postcodes, sent by recorded post or collected. Cakes can be delivered free within BS21 postcodes.

Absolute care will be taken when packaging items for delivery and Paper items will be sent by Royal Mail with a signature required upon receipt. Any delivery charges for Cake or Paper purchases will be included within your quotation. If you require any amendments to your delivery options these can only be made until 7 working days prior to the requirement date.

All delivery addresses will be confirmed at quotation stage and reconfirmed before postage or delivery. Please remember that your delivery will need to be signed for.

Cake and Paper accepts no responsibility for damages incurred once your order has been dispatched.


All artwork and designs remain copyright of Cake and Paper and may not be reproduced or copied without written consent directly from Cake and Paper.

Cake and Paper reserves all rights to use any product created for you to promote future Cake and Paper services and promotions. Any custom product purchase will only be used for reproduction of sale, or promotion after the date of your event and not before.
